Kasraian has published more than thirty photo books, many of which were produced in collaboration with his wife, the anthropologist and educator Ziba Arshi. His photographs have been exhibited and published both in Iran and abroad:

The artist has published various photo essays in Eroupean magazines such as GEO (Germany and France), Airone (Italy), Grand Reportages (France), Animan (Switzerland) and Altaiir (Spain), ect.
Kasraian has also translated “The Complete Photographer” by Andreas Feininger, published in 1965 and translated in 1979–1980.
